James Tod

James Tod is the editor of Best Research Peptide Companies. James compares research peptide vendors on lab testing, price, shipping and refund terms, working only from what each vendor publishes and from independent customer ratings, and records every fact with its source and the date it was checked.

About James

James Tod edits Best Research Peptide Companies and writes its rankings and comparison guides. The job is to turn what research peptide vendors publish about themselves into like-for-like comparisons: who posts a lab report for each lot, which lab ran it, what a vial actually costs, how fast an order ships and what happens if it arrives damaged.

James works only from sources a reader can check for themselves: vendor product, shipping, refund and contact pages, the certificates of analysis vendors publish, lab verification portals and Trustpilot. Every fact on the site carries its source and the date it was checked, and the scoring rules are published in full on the methodology page.

James does not buy, test or use any product, and does not write about human use of any kind. Everything covered on this site is sold for research and laboratory use only.

Why I started this site

Many "best peptide vendor" lists give a vendor 9.5 out of 10 without saying what the score is based on. Lab reports get mentioned but not linked, and prices are months old.

So this site works the other way round. Every score comes from published facts, every fact links to its source and shows the date I checked it, and the scoring rules are public. When a vendor we recommend falls short on a check, the page says so.

I am not a chemist and I do not test products. What I can do is read what vendors publish carefully, check lab reports against the lab's own records where that is possible, and keep the comparisons up to date.

What gets checked on every vendor

  • Lot-level certificates of analysis and the lab that ran them
  • Published prices for the same product and fill size
  • Shipping speed, cost and free-shipping thresholds
  • Refund and reship terms in writing
  • Company name, address and contact routes
  • Trustpilot rating and review count

The full rules are on the method page, and how the site handles affiliate links, corrections and updates is on the editorial policy page.
